Ingredients: 60% green pistachios from Bronte DOP obtained from the shelling process, extra virgin olive oil, iodized salt. May contain traces of other types of nuts. Pasteurized product. Gluten and lactose free. Vegan.
The pistachio pesto DOP is perfect to be enjoyed alone on some charred bread for an aperitivo and as a sauce to season main courses with a characteristic and Mediterranean flavour.
(It is recommended to dissolve three to four teaspoons of pesto in a pan-fried onion base. Add a ladle of pasta cooking water to create an even creamier dish).
Pesto is also suitable for creating gravies and sauces for meat or fish dishes.
